I’m thinking about doing a little ice fishing this weekend?? Not sure how long the ice will be safe? I did a little last year and enjoyed it a little LOL.. I did still have my auto inflate life jacket on even on 8” I still don’t feel that safe.

Let’s hope we can get an early spring. You two were still on the water later than I was. I believe my last trip was mid November.

Oh… There was great fishing in December this year!! As long as you dress warm it’s not bad.

yes, Nov and Dec were really good and I fished right up to Xmas. Rudapa even fished first week into Jan and still catching quality fish. We hit a popular lake just across Missouri line and were the only boat out there

That’s a big part of the enjoyment to me is there never seems to be anyone else out. Guys are in the deer stands ect. I fish a lot of small lakes and I get all the spots to myself.

Love breaking through some ice to get the slab crops. Stroked um good before thick ice up.

This is the best part about fishing late into the season
