Dash mount hb helix 9

What's the best way to dash mount a hb helix nine on a 1980. If I flush mount it does the wheel get in way of view or can a guy just mount the gimbal mount to it and is there enough room between the helix 9 and the steering wheel. Thanks for any insight.

I got a steering spacer for mine when I installed my Garmins. It was not flush mounted. Super easy install. Liked that setup best.

If I remember correctly, the wheel slightly obstructed the view of the solix I had flush mounted when I first purchased. But didn’t have a spacer.

i had a 2020 2080 at the time.
