Seems odd that you should need a valve cover. I had a 2011 ecoboost with no issues, hope my 2019 is just as good.

Have you checked with any local junk yards for a valve cover?

The Ford dealer done told him they didn't have any.

Doorman. They specialize in last resort.

It's very common on the 3.5 Ford can't even get the high pressure fuel rail and DI injectors for coyotes now too... So no gen 3 or gen 4 longblocks are available

As bad as the Doorman covers are for a 5.4 3V, I would never trust a valve cover from them again.

What is the failure point with these valve covers?
    Over heat and distort?
    Or just junk covers?

No. The wheels are alloy with a PVD coating (plastic) to “look” like chrome.

You suggesting the Takata airbags aren't recalled on Fords or other vehicles either? Not just a Toyo issue.

Aluminum alloy never looks like chrome.
Plastic chrome rim caps like Dodge used over aluminum wheels looked like chrome until the first winter
