I purchased a used TX22 SCR. I called Taurus CS to ask if it was registered and to make sure no recalls or other with this firearm. The woman looked up the serial and said it was registered and there was "no warranty". I figured there wasn't but during the conversation she mentioned it at least 3 times. She made me feel like why are you calling you bought it used and the warranty is for original purchaser. So, I just want people to know that there is no support from Taurus if you buy a used firearm.
I do have a standard TX22 which has been flawless through 800 rds. But I've read that after some heavy use there could be problems with mags, feeding, and even slides breaking.
Anyway, the SCR is gone. It was fun while I had it.
