Question Caymas cx20 Prop 2 Pad

I just have a few questions for you Caymas owners. I have a Caymas Cx20 with a Merc 250, no lithium, 4 batteries, no poles, Fury 3 blade 24p, and I just got 72.0 mph with 2 people, about 3/4 loaded with 75% gas. I have a manual jackplate, and my prop to pad is 3". I see people get about mid-70’s with this boat. I’m not going to spend $700 on a temple’s prop or a hydraulic jackplate because I’m just 16 (no, I didn’t buy the boat). I was wondering if anybody is running anything better than 72 and what p2p you are running (if you're running with poles or lithiums, the information still helps). thank you!

Running a cx 20 with lithium, 2 blades and 3 1/2 prop to pad. With a Marks 23 tempest plus 1/2 tank fuel, 2 guys 75.4 best so far. My boat ran better with prop little lower. I think do to the less weight in the stern. I had no bow lift with the fury, and needed more drive input.

Thanks I might have to consider buying a different prop maybe it won’t be much if I sell my fury

These numbers where right after break in hours.

As far as top end numbers right at about 7 hours i saw 78 and change on my CX 20 with about 35 gallons fuel, by myself at 250, some fishing stuff, no poles and running Ionic Lithium batteries. I was three inches under the pad turning about 6100 rmps at about 90% trim. With about 19 hours now i should be able to finally get a solid top end number with my 24 and Mark Croxton Fury 26. This prop worked like a charm on my Z520 C`L Rangers with a G2.

With me and a new customer at about 180 pounds same fuel it ran just over 77, hole shot is great also at about 4 seconds.
