For those of you buying 2, are you buying them to hook parallel or buying one as a back up?

Both honestly. I’m going to run in parallel, but if one craps out I’ll just run one.

First time on the water with this battery today. Fished a local rodeo on my home reservoir. After a 2.5 hr fog delay which consisted of spot locking and trolling around at the ramp we finally fished for 6 hrs. I have an Ultrex on my 21ft Caymas and usually keep it on 4-5 all day. It was pretty calm the first couple of hours fishing then the wind picked up to a bit more than normal. When I got off the water I was at 90% SOC according to the Amped Outdoors monitor. I don't see how I could run this thing down in a single day fishing the water I fish (no rivers no super heavy current for me). As long as the BMS doesn't crap out on this thing it should be more than fine for my needs.

I bought a pair of 12vt, 100 amp batteries a couple of weeks ago. Made it to the lake yesterday and fished about 6 or 7 hours, light wind, and running a old motorguide 656 trolling motor that's 20 years old. Still have 92 percent of the battery left. Even on a normal Oklahoma day with 20 plus wind I can't see running out of power.
Looking at power inverters now, I believe I can make a DYI solar generator for an emergency backup power around the house with the batteries out of the boat.

click on the scam link and look at the number available. Then back out of it and open it again to see the availability, it’ll drop by 2. Back out again and reopen, it’ll drop 2 more. I can’t believe anyone would fall for it.
