GE Profile, Maytag, Whirlpool, stay away from Samsun. As far as microwaves go, no need to get to fancy. A good friend of mine had an appliance store. He told me years ago that I didn't need all the fancy stuff. All I was going to ever use if for was simple things like heating veggies and the like. No need for probes etc. He was right.

Just did kitchen gut. We went with GE dishwasher , fridge and gas stove. Fridge has ice maker which saves us a ton on buying bottled water. Did not expect that. had a small space as I rearranged the cabinet layout to open up the floor. We used a narrow side by side which works for the 2 of us. A bigger family it wouldnt because the freezer was pinched to make the unit narrow. We bought a whirlpool over the range microwave which is an excellent addition. Has fan light and exhaust built in. The options package for that were limited in availability big box so I bought that on Amazon. We started the project fresh after Covid so the stocks were limited in options by company.

All appliamces are smudge resistant stainless steel which makes for easy wipe down.

I've got an LG fridge and stove and they have been great

I like the Panasonic microwave with inverter tech heats stuff up fast

I had one for 10 years until wife set it for 10 minutes instead of 1 minute and burnt up a plate of food and we could get rid of the smell

bought a second one and its been flawless for 7 years
