    Power Trim Service

    1B808588 2010 175 Pro XS

I bought my boat a year ago, have the service records. Nothing about power trim service. My system does not leak and fluid is clean. Do I need to do anything for now? I have done all the required maintenance in the FAQ.

    Thanks in advance

    +1!

My 150 Optimax was manufactured in 2008 and I've never checked fluid level, if it works and doesn't leak, as Joe said - leave it be.

Me too, 2002 Mercury, never a problem with the trim/tilt. Prefer to let it be until there is a problem. Afraid I’ll muck around and break something that isn’t broke.

Only service it "should" need is that you need to roll some grease into the little "balls" at the end of the trim rams several times per year.

2-4-C or High-Pressure Grease would be good.
