    What is wrong with my wife?

    She says one of my favorite hats is "nasty and gross" and is threatening to throw it out. Is it possible she is right?

    Pretty nasty…and yes wash it. I use the dish washer. Less abrasive on an old favorite.

    Al is right, except, sir, are you running it through the clothes washing machine or your dish washer?? I run my hats through the dish washer. You'd be shocked how well it works. That hat might be to the point of no return though. That will be the true test, if it works then she is wrong and if it doesnt, then she is right.
