    livescope lead vs tungsten

What is more of a benefit for seeing your bait, on your livescope when talking about smaller jig head weights do you think a small 3/16 Shakey head in tungsten would show up better than a 3/16 in lead?

I’d think tungsten would be more visible. It’s a more dense metal compared to lead, and with any sonar FFS/2D/DI the denser the substance the greater the return

this only matters when using bare metal jigs

with painted jigs the paint will play a bigger role than the metal

I always found lead to be better which I attributed to the larger size for an equivalent weight.

Us Crappie guys see 1/16 round lead just fine as far as you can throw it, Hello we have no problem with 1/32 jigs at 30+feet.
