Motor Oil is still one of my favorite colors and use it quite a bit.
I have a 100 pack of Berkley 10” power worms in Motor Oil still sealed in the bag sitting in a box in my garage.
I have never stopped using motor oil.Producto worms have the best looking motor oil color.It is an old school motor oil.Slider also has a very good motor oil.

In the early 90s I would catch a bunch of calico bass, sand bass and halibut in the San Diego salt on Kaelin’s motor oil 3” grubs.
I agree - it's always been a great color and some companies still make them but it's not nearly as popular as it once was.
Still very popular here in Australia on a few species - lot of Motor Oil offerings from Zman, Daiwa Bait Junkie plastics down here
