James river fish are hungry. Time to go.

Went crappie fishing yesterday (in the wind). Ran into an old friend who was bass fishing. He called us over and said, put one of them minnows right over there. BAM. it was on. 4 bass pretty quick then we were heading to a crappie spot out of the wind. Last minnow reeled up to the side of the boat and down went the cork. 5lb 9 oz bass. That was fun.

The crappie were everywhere we looked. Some deep and a few up shallow turning black. Go as soon as you can.
Hang on. I'll help you in 77 minutes.

I’d love to get into some crappie. I fished for crappie growing up and now I totally suck at it.

I caught 1 on the Chick on Friday that was easy 2lbs. Hit a Red Eye Gold 1/2oz rattle trap. Choked it.

Ironically I caught one Sunday that weighed 1.5 lbs. Caught it on a jerk bait while fishing for bass and stripers.
