    She’s a keeper when…

…you looked and admired but left it on the rack. As you’re standing in line at checkout she says I’ll be right back. Thinking she ran off to the restroom the cashier starts scanning all the baits you feel guilty about buying when she was saying “holy crap those are $16”. Right as you’re about to pay the cashier she returns and says “hold on you forgot this and you work hard and deserve it.”

I’ve never spent a lot on rod and reels so this will be a treat and I’m sure will make me want to upgrade a few others. I love throwing jigs so nice to get one that fits what I do a large portion of the time.

I have 5 myself but not the NRX. Have had them from 20-30 years ago approximately. Still look good and just as sensitive as most big end rods of today. I think they were 200$ and up back then! Maybe closer to 300$ for a couple I have. They are worth it in the long run to me so I will someday get another or two.

Both the rod and the wifey are keepers for sure. You got a good woman there.

    Keeper for sure.

My GF helped buy my boat. My older brother pitched in also as he was riddled with cancer 4 months before he passed away. I had suffered a TBI and lost my job and they both helped me get back on the water.
