Slowly losing my second best girl

Dixie my 10 year old Boxer is having trouble with moving her back legs due to her knees. I have been helping her up and down the stairs for several weeks now. Spent a good bit of money at the vets with her in the last month. Giving her Brillium shots for pain in joints. Probably didn’t spell that right so overlook that please. All kinds of supplements and so on. Got up this morning and she seems to have given up. She might pull out of it but don’t look good at this point. She wants me to stay put right beside her. My Vet told me she would let me know when it’s over. Thinking I will have to put her to sleep soon. May ask Vet to come do it at home. ( He will for me) Thinking about asking him to just bringing two doses. One for her and one for me. Man! This is going to be tough on me and wife and boys also. If you read this Thank you for letting me vent!

Don't let your dog linger on in pain...it's hard, but it is what we have to endure for all the years of love your dog has shown you.

It is what is best for them, not for us, that is easy to forget sometimes.
    Prayers be with you.

Very sorry for you and your family. Ask the vet to come to your home, where she can pass surrounded by her loved ones.
