Ours has a motion activated camera in the center of the aisle. Actually, 2, as one faces each way. It turns on when you enter the aisle and you can see yourself on the monitor. Is fishing tackle theft really that big of a thing?

our sporting good section has motion activated monitoring in the fishing and also the ammo area, I believe it is so they do not have put a person there full time. I can never find anyone working in that area and always have to ask for someone to find me help if I need it with ammo and/or sporting good related items.

Our has had one for years.
I believe I've seen them in other sections also. Home depot I believe it is has them also. They first appeared a few years ago.
Nope, the only sporting isle with a camera is the ammo. Even golf stuff is left unattended. They put up the cameras where the highest theft occurs. The only Walmart stores around here where there are cameras in the fishing isles are in the city stores where they stays have issues with theft

That's just the camera you can see. The visible cameras are there to detour some people. I would bet from the time you pull onto the parking lot until the time you leave you are on camera other than when your inside the restroom. Even then they know exactly when you went in and came out.
