I purchased a 2023 boat and I am the 2nd owner. Boat, motor, and warranty, is now registered to me. Am I eligible for Skeeter Real Money as I am not the original owner?

you should be eligible
i assume you paid the $200 transfer fee to swap motor warranty and everything to you?
Yes.
just get on Skeeter site and register, it's a fairly simple process, you will need serial number on motor and your HIN number
I just asked dealership and they told me original owner?
Skeeter website states new or used 2 year or newer, so sounds like your dealer may not know
Uninformed dealer...
2023 Skeeter FXR20
Lake Guntersville
but you must be the original owner of the boat to reap the skeeter real money.
no sir, you do not; but you DO have to be registered in the program
I am registered to the motor and boat. But I called Foothills Marine and they told me I have to be the original owner.
Calling Skeeter about the Real Money program seems to be about pointless. Multiple calls and emails went unanswered so I gave up.
Foothills Marine doesn't know what they're talking about, but i guess believe who you want to, why ask here if you're not going to believe the answers given? Call Skeeter ask for Jeff, he is the head of Marketing, he will also explain that Foothills doesn't know what they're talking about 903-984-0541
- Must fish from your Skeeter boat with a Yamaha outboard motor that has been warranty registered to the original owner within twenty-four (24) months of the qualifying Contingency Paying Event (“Skeeter/Yamaha Package”).
This is right from the rules on their website.
Yes, above says ORIGINAL OWNER. Not 2nd OWNER, 3rd OWNER, or 1.5 OWNER.. ORIGINAL. Thus, I am not eligible. Right from the website.
don't enter! good luck, hope you win 1, and then realize we were right, argumentative son a gun

Hey Joseph, sorry for the misleading info. Luke actually came into my office when you called the dealership the other day. One of the other guys here answered his question about reel money, but was wrong. I emailed our sales rep, who clarified with Skeeters marketing dept. You do not have to be the original owner to be eligible for Reel Money, however the tournament date must be 24 months or sooner from the original owners date of purchase, and you must be registered with Skeeter as the current owner, and signed up for Reel Money. Hope this clarifies your question!
Thank you. Just purchased.
