The lids have rounded corners. All the videos I can find shows installing the EVA on flat corners. Do you have to heat it around the corner to form it?

I have another question. What buffing compound do I use after 400 grit wet sanding?

you'll need to paint or powdercoat your lids as the foam doesn't wrap around the edges like carpet. You'll have about 1/4 inch exposed around all of your lids and you'll need to add spacers to your hinges so your latches will still work. Just got through doing my Allison with seadek.
