    Livescope Power

When stowing TM to run to a new location, does going to the home screen disable livescope, and its transducer? I'm curious if doing so will eliminate the potential for overheating the transducer while making runs

I dont ever disable mine.....i consider 15 mins a long run and never had an issue....in the summer down south, it can get pretty hot but i've had the "overheat" warning show up once since i been using LS and that was cause the troller was out of water for an extend amount of time...as soon as it hit the water within a minute it was back running....IMO, i wouldnt worry about it.

Not overly concerned ... I was just curious if going to the home screen will remove power from the transducer?

Sorry, misread your post. No it will not. You would have to stop transmission for it to stop pinging....

On my LS screen I have a play/pause selection bottom left on screen
I hit pause when I am moving to a new location.
    Not sure if this helps....

Pretty easy just to put the unit to sleep. That way you don't have to do the whole boot up process when you get to the next spot, just hit the power button to wake it up.

EDIT: The above is true of my 93SV. But I had my 126SV with the LVS34 on the water for the first time today. Putting the 126 to sleep is apparently the same as powering it off. It goes through a full reboot when waking it back up. Odd they are different that way.

The 126 has a timer choice for sleep mode to off. Can be set from 10minutes or so to couple hours.

I've been turning the Transmit to "off" with the pole out of the water. One press and I'm back in business.
Hang on. I'll help you in 77 minutes.

Shouldn't be the case either an issue or a setting....

Thanks. Mine was set to an hour out of the box, and mine were not in sleep mode for an hour but still shut down. Still, I set it for 2 hours and sleep mode is now working as expected on my 126.
