    Two Megalive Ducers

Any reason why I cannot run two megalive transducers on different graphs.. one being on the network and one stand alone?

    No, except for cross-talk.

If you have APEX units you can have both networked. SlYDoggie does that.

So I assume I will have to run mega to a stand alone unit correct?

Assume nothing, try both ways. I got freeze-ups networking both.

I have a post about networking 2 Mega Live with my Apex units. I think the key is that I'm using the ports on my Apex units for the Mega Live connections and not the 5 port switch. I did try running one networked and the other in standalone mode, but the crosstalk was definitely an issue. The only way the Mega Live Interference Rejection setting can work properly is if all the sonar sources are networked... In a standalone mode, that isn't the case.

So having three solix units, I wanted to run the second live to a bow unit and have the live I have currently ran to another bow unit. Humminbird says I cannot network the second live so I thought I would use it on a stand alone unit but you are saying the interference will be an issue as I cannot use the rejection setting for the stand alone live unit?

There is a cross-talk flash at the right edge Forward view
Those happen at random places on the view.

You can use the Mega Live Interference Rejection setting on your standalone unit but it can only control the sequencing and duration of the sonar sources it can access, which is only sonar sources physically connected to the standalone unit.

You may or may not have Crosstalk issues with this setup. If you do, the good thing about Solix is that you can turn off individual sonar 2D, DI, or SI from a single transducer to try to minimize the crosstalk.

If I connect two megalives to the network how will it know which one I want to display on each unit? Or just best to do stand alone?

You didn't say which units you have, but on Solix and Apex you go to the screen where you select your sonar sources for each type of imaging. When you select Mega Live when you have two Mega Live units on the network, you select which one you want to use for each unit... at least, that's how it works for the 2 Mega Live units I have networked with my Apex units.
