Promax on 300r, blowout ring or nah?

Anybody run a promax prop on a 250 or 300r? If so are you using a blowout ring or just letting it go over and through?

depends on the boat. I never ran one on any Promax I ran on my XB21 Prosport 300R. Ran 8 open holes on a 26,28,30,32

I have to run the ring on my BasSport with 250R.

I have one, but dont have the ring. Holeshot is pretty bad with my 28, 1.62 gears, two fat boys, full fuel and livewell. I usually only put the promax on if Im in a clean lake and solo, which I rarely am. I like the Hydromotive props and worked Bravo's better.

The 2 seater does not holeshot well with the promax, but they run really well once broke over. I do not put a ring on them.
