    Finally made it out.

First trip of the year yesterday . I went to Canobie lake, Water temp was 49-52.
Lots of fishing with not much catching . Only got 1 small largemouth and 3 pickerel.
You know it's a slow day when you're counting pickerel .
I caught them on a vision +1 . I also had a couple come off on the way in.
Wish the bass would have cooperated but it was nice just to be out on the water

Glad to hear you got out, Tim! Vision 110+1 is what I caught all of my fish on last weekend. I heard from a couple of people that got out yesterday and today, they said it was slow, so you're not alone!

Nice! This year's been lots of looking, to find a few scaly acorns! Success has been split between a jerkbait and a compact double-colorado spinnerbait for me. Haven't seen 50 yet. Crappie fishing has been fabulous:)

Glad to hear you made it out. This year has been extremely hit or miss for me. One day I do decent and the next time I wonder if I should take up golf instead.

Glad you guys have been getting out.
The crappie looks good. One of these days I'm going to have to keep a few and give them a try.

Fished Highland Saturday afternoon. Got zero bites on a jig, spinnerbait, medium diver, jerkbaits or a blade bait (unless you count that one buck perch that jizzed on the entire front half of the boat). Temps were right at 50, water's still down a couple of feet. Note: if you go, use a little caution. The mound that's pushed up from power loading at normal pool is only 12" under the surface, and is right where you'll stick your stern now. I also rumbled over some rocks in the S-curves - a good 40' off the black spar. Island P looked at least a foot low too (a friend of mine fished there on Sunday and got a couple small bass).

Hit smaller water Sunday afternoon and got nine on the spinnerbait (they were freight training it off laydowns), and one on a Bandit 300 off a flat In 6' . All good sized, biggest was about 3#. Temps right at 50.

Went back to Canobie yesterday. Did a little better this time.
Water temp was 55-57. I caught 9 large mouth and 9 pickerel.
I tried to out bass the pickerel but it ended in a tie.
Had to stop throwing the jerkbait because I couldn't keep the pickerel off it.
All caught on a vision +2 and a chatterbait. All caught about 10-15 deep.

Got on Keyzar this weekend and water right around 50-52. Windy and choppy. Got three or four on vision 110 and fluke. No green vegetation and we did see any signs of life.

Good going gents. Also all jerkbaits for me at Massasecum Sunday. 55 & and the small bass and bluegill have moved into shallow grass - couldn't find a batch of bigger ones, but the good bites were on rocky points outside those flats.

Glad you got out on keyzar Phil. I've only been there a couple times.
Jazz showed me around, he loves that place.

I haven't been to massabesic for a long time.
I couldn't catch anything shallow on Sunday.

Fished Pawtuckaway sunday managed 8. Caught 1 in 4" of water chasing a crappie. Most fish were out in 6 to 8 feet. Fundy was in low 60's when I left.

    Went back to Canobie yesterday.
Water temp was 60-65 . Caught 14 largemouth with the best being about 4 pounds.
Most were like 1 1/4. All caught on a spybait, jerkbait and chatterbait in about 10' of water. Didn't see any beds
