    Trip Advice

Driving from Columbus, GA to Palatka, FL (about 5 hours).

Opinions, please, about hauling your boat on a full tank of gas, as opposed to as little gas as possible in your boat tank.

Any recent reports on Rodman Reservoir?

    Thanks guys.

I would think gas in GA is a lot cheaper. You should gas up before crossing the state line.

Bass Master Elites discuss this often????

Concerned with single axel trailer stability at higher speeds. that's where the full or empty question comes from. I pull a Bass cat Margay 17.5 feet.

I'd fill boat up in Valdosta, as long as you aint hauling with a Prius you'll be good. If you do have a Prius, I'd fill up at a marina on the water.

You'll be fine hauling with fuel. Good luck on your trip. St John's is a beautiful river, fish can be stingy!
