both garmin units turn on now when i turn on breaker at back of boat to power up units wouldnt think this would happen since I never pushed power button on units ?

I believe on my 8600 models there is an option to turn that function on or off. Don't recall where and what it is called. I can find it next time I am in the boat, if you don't figure it out first.
