Ficht spark plug gap ... 0.028" or 0.030"?

    Model E175FSXECS - 1998 175hp Ficht

A little under the weather today, not well enough to be around people so I went to check the gap on new to-be-indexed/installed plugs. Brain fart ... I know the chart above says set the gap @ '30' thou, but I recall that on my carb'd motors that said '30' in the book, that OMC changed it to be '28'.

Help out this guy who's brain is in a fog ... is it 28 or 30?

Thanks! That's what I thought ... reasoning being that the gap will only up with use ...

    I make mine 0.028 and re-gap @ ~ 50hrs. By then they're probably ~ 0.040!

Had a brain fart on the gapping, as indexing I'm now a Pro at ... and here I thought that 'getting old' would take longer ... LOL!
