    POWERTEC BRV 5

what pitch BRV 5 would be equal to a 26 BRAVO 1 XS and would this be a faster prop, are would the Powertech need to be worked to run better than the bravo

BRV 5 runs very stiff in larger pitches. What boat and motor combo?
I have a 30 that runs like a 32 for example and required a lot of adjustments to get dialed in.

I can not say for certain that the BRV5 will be faster. I love the way mine handles in rough water and cruising speeds. They are pretty sluggish on holeshot and take a long distance to get to top speed. Based off of my 30 BRV5 (which after being balanced and tuned measures 31.5) I have ran it 96.3 @ 6200 rpms and it likes to run pretty high to be able to spin it. I have ran a 32 Bravo (worked) to 97.9 @ 6380. On my BRV5 before it was tuned and balanced but had the flare completely removed it ran 93@ 5850 and was a total slug. My boat is completely different from a Nitro so if you could find one to test that would be the best idea and I would look for a 24 maybe a 25 pitch to test.
