Anyone use these? I recently installed a Lowrance HDS 12 Live and can’t believe how much the factory OEM bracket and unit vibrates when I’m driving the boat or towing my rig. Can’t be good for longevity. I’d like to reduce the amount of vibration. I see BBT also has HD mounts but those are more than double the cost of the gimbal bracket saver.
interestingly, the OEM plastic mount for my HDS 9” Live doesn’t move around at all.

I put on the BBT HD gimbals. Definitely worth the $$. I had the same issue (3 units) and the HD gimbals solved the problem.
I’m just going to go with the HD bracket based on your experience. I was really surprised at how much movement and vibration the OEM metal bracket allows!

BBT Gimbals are rock solid! I have 4- 12" units and all of them are set in BBT gimbals.
I actually stopped the truck about ten minutes into my fishing trip to check if the OEM bracket was loose, lol!
I just ordered the BBT mount for my 12” HDS Live. I’ve got their bow mount and it’s as if Ranger built it. Top notch!
