What synthetic blend are you referring to as compared to OMC 2 cycle? OMC had 2 blends and BRP Evirude has 3 blends.
Don't complicate it, that motor isn't pickey at all, you can use any TCW3 rated 2 stroke oil and it won't make any difference, Pennzoil XLF is cheap and easy to find.
All true on use of TCW3. But my question was asked because even premix a semi-synthetic oil usually emits less smoke as compared to a mineral based oil.
My Walmart has both side by side also. Makes me wonder too. Why is Dino $8 more than semi-syn. Weird
