    Most versatile hard bait color

If you were only given one color choice for a soft plastic bait, there would probably be a majority consensus that green pumpkin would be the most versatile soft bait color. But what about hard baits (topwater, crankbaits, jerkbaits, swimbaits)? There are seemingly endless color options for hard baits and some work great in clear water, others in dirty water. But if you could only have one color to use in a variety of water clarity situations, what would it be?

I would choose either a "Sexy Shad", or a "Green Gizzard Shad" color.

I watched the video on how Bass percieve colors underwater. I'd go with something green, I think.
