    Grounding??

I'm in the middle of installing my 106sv Ultra and LVS34/GLS10. Both have that external ground spot on the cases.

Do you folks actually use these?
Do you ground the head unit too?
    Do you ground the GLS10?

If so, do I run a wire from those all the way to the neg on my battery or can I go to the bus plate in my bow?

Well that saves me some time...thank you

And for the record, I never have with other units as well. Just thought I'd see if there's some new thoughts to this concept.

With the power turned off do a continuity test on the negative wire and the negative of the battery

Most systems only cut off and fuse the positive leads and the negative is always connected

If this is your setup (mine is) I run an extra wire from the negative lead to that ground connection on all my units and GLS10
