Dealer put a 23 tempest on it. Performs pretty good unloaded/solo. But loaded is kind of a dog.
3 ppl, 1/2 tank of gas, full livewell. 42 mph and 5600 rpms. This motor is supposed to turn up to 6300.
I'm thinking drop 2" in pitch to bring the rpms up to about 6000 with that load, and it'll still leave me with a couple hundred rpms left for those rare times that I lighten the load.
Thoughts?
