    Plug question please

What is the general rule for what plugs do (in a four blade 250 pro xs four stroke). Is it the more plugs in the more hole shot but less speed? Thx !

When you add plugs it allows less exhaust to escape out the holes, it forces it through the hub of the prop. The more exhaust you have coming out of the holes the more the prop will slip on holeshot allowing rpms to build quicker. They are only used to adjust holeshot, no effect on top end speed. Most of the time with the four strokes all holes are plugged. You can still adjust plugs on a four stroke to tweek holeshot

Plugs The more open they are the more it helps the whole shot up to a point. None of this has anything to do with top speed.
