    Question AT2 stable view

Been watching some videos and most of them talk about running stable view on their AT2. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but every time I turn stable view on for the most part I lose the bottom. Maybe I don't understand exactly the purpose of it but I just trying to get the most out of the unit. I'm running it in forward mode, manual depth and range. Any suggestions?

    Thanks

ok to run manual in range but not depth set that to auto if you have the latest updates Lowrance has made the distance from 10ft to 5 ft spacing so it works a lot better the new way in auto

The purpose of Stableview is for use in rough water when the transducer is bouncing up and down; the purpose is to smooth out the image. I only turn it on in rough water.
