    Graham-Mebane (Quaker)

Been hearing about this lake and all the big fish in it so I went and tried it yesterday. Seems to be a nice lake with plenty of bait and seemed to be good rock on the bottom. But the fishing was beyond tough, I fished for 7 hours from the dam up to about as far as a boat could go trying variety of techniques and didnt get but one bite. Was in areas with other boats so I believe was fishing the right areas and seemed to be fishing like they were. Everybody was beating the bank which you would think should be doing with 68 degree water temps but wasnt working out. May go back next weekend, try deeper and topwater first thing as that may start turning on if it keeps getting warmer.

It's a tough one. Better places elsewhere. This has been the toughest spring I've ever seen for shallow water fishing in all of our lakes though.
