    VA BBC Shenandoah River

    All,
    I came across an old thread about running a bass boat in the Shen out Egypt Bend. (From 2010) Is it truly safe to run? How much water is there to fish that is safe running? What's the crowds like during the weekends? Would it be best to go during the week?

    I am heading up in that area would love to check it out. Any advice and tips would greatly be appreciated.

    yes, you can run a boat a mile or so north of the ramp and down lake to the dam pretty easy...as you go down river there are a few trees in the middle of the river you have to watch out for...they are usually marked or visible...it is usually pretty busy on the weekends...you can also put in a boat at the town of Shenandoah also
