My 818 came with a Tempest 22 with the large vent hole plugs installed. I’m at 3,000 ft elevation so the 22 was a little to much prop. Hole shot was slow and top end was in the 5800 rpm range.
Fast forward and I now have 21 Tempest. It came with the vent holes with the solid plugs. Hole shot is better and top end is right at the 6000 rpm range. My question is this. Would the hole shot improve with vent holes open using the plugs from the 22.

Fast forward to this morning. 1/2” vent plugs installed in the 21 Tempest and life is good. Hole shot is much
improved.
