Tempest 23P verses other props

I am currently running a Tempest Plus 23P on my 2023 18TRX. My numbers are 65mph @ 5850rpm PTP 1 3/4. I try get more out of it the chine walk gets me. I am wondering if a different prop pitch or style would help. I started out with 24P Tempest

I have had multiple Tritons and it didn’t matter the size of the boat or the prop I used. They started chine walking at about 65. Everyone said you just have to learn to prevent the chine walk from ever getting started.

I would try the 23 P Tempest Plus at 2 3/4" PTP before giving up on it.

If you have not bought another prop by October and my club goes back to Mitchell Lake you can try my 24 Bravo FS.

Switch to a 4 blade Bravo FS OR XS, 1" pitch higher, run the prop higher than the Tempest, should help prevent chine walk.

^ This was my experience when I switched from a Fury 23 P to Bravo FS 24 P.
