    What is this thing?

I'm having some electrical issues with my dash (trim, pumps...). This thing here makes noise when the power is turned on and the dashboard lights flash off and on, it sounds like a breaker going off and on, constantly resetting.

Horn. Funny. Hope it's louder than the wifes' Ford Edge. The turn signal clicking is louder then her horn.
Hang on. I'll help you in 77 minutes.

Thanks . The horn on this boat that I know of is on the left side under the driver console....so apparently there was a second horn installed at some point by someone else

Never saw a boat with horn on opposite side of the driver....maybe it was a self install on passenger side.....the one you have pictured i'd say it came from the factory in that place due to the fiberglass has an indention to recess the horn.

That's definitely the horn. The horn is powered through a relay (with power on) because of the amps it requires. On my boat the relay is located on the fuse panel. It looks like a normal, square black auto relay. If not working, maybe because horn is seized it would click on-off, on-off...

Those weak sounding horns that just go "beep beep" make me bust out laughing. Or as a friend of mine will say if he hears a horn blow "horn blows...does the driver?"
