    Ever Leave a Tournament Early

I did today. 3 dinks in the well, not worried about team of the year as I plan to miss a couple tournaments. Just wanted to go home. Anyone else?

A couple times. Some days are so crappy just putting it on the trailer before the crowds and cracking a cold one is as good as a win.

Yep. Weather related most of the time...like 33, pouring, wind 20-30 mph out of N/NE

    Nope. “Never give up!”
"The man of system is apt to be very wise in his own conceit; and is often so enamored with the supposed beauty of his own ideal plan of government that he cannot suffer the smallest deviation from any part of it…He seems to imagine that he can arrange the different members of a great society with as much ease as the hand arranges the different pieces upon a chessboard.” Adam Smith, The Theory of Moral Sentiments

A few times for sure. We fish for fun. If for whatever reason, the fun is gone, we head to the house.

I did for a storm one time. Thunder and lightning everywhere and on a lake I'd never fished and it was at night. Didn't hurt that I'd not caught any keepers before dark.

One time in the last 41 years. Didn’t draw a co angler, hotter than the hinges of hell and getting no bites. I said screw it. That’s the only time.

Yes sir, fishing should be enjoyable. Some days don’t go as planned, why prolong it?
