    12" hummingbird

    Hi Dean,
I have a 2000 203 and I mounted my helix 12 on my console by mounting a SS plate over where my flasher was and mounting a balzout mount to the plate.
I don't have any good pics of it , this is the best I have.

paul, can you easily see over that? im 5'10", and also looking at the same style and location for a helix 10, but concerned I wont be able to get the graph low enough to still safely see over it LOL

    Hi Dean
I am 6' tall and with the smallest balzout mount ( I think 4") after the boat gets on plane seeing over the 12" graph is no problem.
I have mine mounted centered where the flasher was, but you could move it down a bit to sit it lower.
Also the ss plate was only 1/8 in thick.
I could get better pics of it this weekend if you want?

Thanks guys..The boat is my tourney partner's. He is deciding which way to go...new boat or upgrade a few things. I knew the Champ crowd here would have an answer. I've given him the info and now its up to him on which way to go..thanks!

He’s down at Choke Canyon wasting his time this weekend , but it’s the “Beach Customs” that I was referring too earlier. Carlton Beach must be busy since he hasn’t responded.

I got a PM from him...he’s on it if Jimmy decides he wants to go that route.

Ha! I wouldn't go that far. My club had a 2-day tournament down there and we had a good time, regardless. First time on that lake and manage a few keepers. The reports were right though, fishing was tough. My partner and I did manage to squeak 3rd place with 4 fish over 2 days for a whopping 10lbs.

To the OP, sorry I missed your msg. I didn't pick up my phone all weekend and it was wonderful.

I have a 12" HDS on my 2000 202. Mounted it on the large ram mount just to the right of the console.
