    Nervous

That I may have a cracked Hull 4 yrs into owning my 2021 AVX 1980. Checked every fitting inside I could think of and now its on the way to be dropped off for inspection. Hoping I missed one of the fitting and that's the problem and not a cracked Hull. Not sure if my wife could handle me being home all the time this summer without a boat. Does anybody know what the turnaround time on a new hull is if that is the case?

6 weeks and you get a 2023 hull. Have them replace the console as well.

Update: Hull is cracked in 3 places on the bends and 2 welds cracked. Waiting on Vexus to see what's next.

No big surprise. They will replace your hull. Once you get it back, its a perfect time to sell it.

1980 has always had .125" hulls though right?

ifishinxs, I assume you run a Phoenix per your signature, curious how/why you know so much about Vexus?

Because I was one of the lucky Vexus owners to have my hull crack twice. Vexus tried to make a repair and it failed within a few months. Then finally Vexus replace the hull. Over a thousand miles of travel back and forth to my nearest dealer. Months of not having a boat was more than I care to deal with. When you have your area representative’s phone number on speed dial there is a problem. In any case the folks a Vexus did the right thing and were easy to deal with.

Ok, that makes sense! Sorry you had issues with your hull. So far, after 3 years, mine has been great.
