    Sonar Question

Since there is not a general forum for fish finders, only individual forum by brand, I thought I world post this question here.

This question is for anyone who has both Humminbird 360 (mega or older) and Garmin Livescope (any generation). If you could only have one of the two, which would you choose and why. I have seen several videos that compare the two but nothing that identified a clear best choice. Both seem to have their strong points. Also, the comparisons I have found are all at least 2 years old, nothing current.

Thinking about adding one or the other, budget and size of boat prevent getting both. Just looking for some first hand info to help make the best decision for my situation.

Thanks in advance and tight lines.

I have the non-MEGA 360 and LVS32 Livescope and use them together. I think that most people get more use out of the FFS, although I get enough use from the 360 regarding area information and how to orient the boat for fishing to justify still running both. I still use an 1199 on the non-MEGA 360.

I'm thinking that we had a similar discussion on this in either the Humminbird or Garmin subforum recently, although I didn't find it doing a quick search instead of going to both and doing a visual scan.
