    Keel Guard slice repair

Bit different than the other keel guard post, mine isn't sagging or coming off, but I must have hit something sharp while beaching the boat one day. I have about a 1.25" slice, tongue shaped piece. Is there a recommended adhesive to glue it back together that has been successful for others?

    Thanks!

Had/have similar issue (prior owner took a chunk out of it). I filled it with PL Roof and Flashing 10 oz. Polyurethane Sealant Black and formed/shaped with overlaid tape. Looked pretty good, but it's not tough enough.

Same thing happened to mine. Get ready to replace it. Mine did last 8-10 trips but water gets in and it’s coming off unless it’s the Hambys that’s bonded and installed by a shop. If that’s the case from what I’ve read it’s not coming off or getting water behind it. I’m in the process now of replacing mine.

I had a slice, tried to fix it, and it was impossible. I believe replacement is the only option for a real fix.
