2 of the most productive bass lures up shallow are a jig and a chatterbait. This is how I effectively fish both on a single cast. When I can find all the elements to the pattern like I describe in my video, it gets really productive. Especially when I'm by myself and can't decide if they are on a winding or pitching bite, a great way to cover a lot of water and show them a couple of different looks.
