Thought Id give you a look at the upgraded lift assist for the 36v 112 Utrex. Its the one on the left. Considerably bigger.

Be careful here. I only have 1 FFS transducer on my trolling motor shaft. I bought a lift kit thinking it would make lifting trolling motor easier. I am getting old and was looking for easy. It did make it easier but it also made it harder to get trolling motor to go back down and lock in place. I had to take lift kit off because it was too dangerous for me trying to get trolling motor locked down in place so I could fish.

The Minnkota lift kit upgrades are for added weight of the combination of MEGA 360 and MEGA LIVE/Target Lock.

The ones that Rod Meadows produced are adjustable in the larger size.

I have the MEGA 360/MEGA LIVE/Target Lock and use two of the original factory gas springs for the pre-2023 in the 36V size which are 860N. They are slightly too much for the 80# 45" Ultrex. I can change one of them to a lesser strength so I don't have to step on the mount for it to latch down. I'll will do that when I become too unsteady for that manuver.
I had already changed from the original single 640N to 860N when I added just the MEGA 360.

Results:
The new spring does work considerably better with the FFS and my 360. I did recently pull the 360 for fishing some real slop. At times i had to tap it to get it to lock.
