Doing my own 200 hr or 2 year service.

I'd like to do an engine oil & gear oil change @ the two year mark (100 hr was done about 9 months ago). Oil looks a little dirty and preventive maintenance is our best friend right ?

So I think I know the answer to this question but I'm gonna ask it anyway ...

Would / could this interfere with the manufactures engine warranty ?

    TIA

shouldn't? you change oil on your car and it doesn't-- I would just keep good notes and receipts of maintance parts purchased also

No, document when you do the service and retain the dated receipts for parts/materials.

Additionally, check out the FAQ Section at the top of this forum, look specifically for the "Recommended 4-Stroke Maintenance" post. Follow it, as suggested, keep receipts and a log of what was done.

Thank you Gentleman - I'm a 'By The Book' kinda guy when it come to maintenance. Will certainly review the 'Recommended 4 Stroke Maintenance' sticky here on the Forum as well.
