    Question Trailer Wiring Component (No Idea)

    Does anyone have an idea what this is? It was previously adhered to the inside of my boat trailer fender. It's a molded hard rubber piece with a wire embedded in it. There's an identical one on opposite side of trailer and is still attached to inside of trailer fender.

    Any chance it's a gps tracker for boat theft?? Or the previous owner was on the FBI/Interpol watch list.....kidding.
