Hey Yall, Ive got a 99 triton tr-21 sittin on a 98 or 99 mfi soft ride dual axle trailer. I've read a decent amount of stuff on this trailer and it looks like they can have some problems. Ive already put goodyear endurances on it as well as redone the bearings. The trailer squeaks really bad but no mechanical failures or anything yet. I think I'm going to purchase the dexter equalizer that was posted on some older threads about similar trailers. Also gonna do the bunks and boards. Anything else I need to go ahead and replace? Leaf springs look to be in decent shape a little rust on em. Which leaf springs does this trailer need? Also brakes seem to be working fine and have had some work done on them at some point. In General the trailer is not rusted much at all and seems to be structurally sound. I tow a lot, and am planning on a 8 hour trip to arkansas from georgia soon and need to make sure everything is legit. Any info on this trailer and recommended upgrades is very appreciated. Do not want to go the new trailer route unless I absolutely have to because I will probably sell this boat in 2 years after college and the price of new trailers seem to be unbelievably high. Just need for it to be reliable and solid as I do go all over the south for college tournaments.
