Adding battery in the back AVX 1980c

I have a 2023 Vexus AVX 1980c with three batteries in the back. I currently have a 24v Ultrex with two Lead acid Group 31 batteries. I am thinking of converting the Ultrex to 36v and will need to add an additional Group 31 battery in the rear. Has anyone done this?

Lots have done that. You have plenty of room. It adds more weight to back of the boat. Might consider Lithium instead.
Or go with a Quest. Then the 24 Volts will be more than enough.

Can someone post a picture of your battery setup with one cranking battery and three trolling motor batteries?

Here you go sir! These are from my old 2021 AVX 1980. One Ionic 125AH battery 12V for cranking and running electronics, and three Ionic 50AH batteries 36V in series for the Ghost trolling motor.

I just ordered that same battery. So the battery isn't a perfect fit for the factory tray? Any issues with the battery sliding around a bit?

Why group 31’s for a TM setup?

I took the boat in to Clark Marine and they added a third 12v Group 31 Pro-Guide to match the other two and installed a single bank charger. Things fit pretty well. Upgrading my Ultrex 24v to 36v on this July 4th. Motor and shaft are switched and am finishing up swapping the control board. Once that is done, I will need to upgrade the gas spring. It is really hot and I work for a while, then cool off for a while!
