Arrived late morning to find the lake high and murky. Temp 74
I caught several fish casting a chart. crankbait on the outside weed line. Biggest one was a tad over 4 lbs. Several boaters fishing for pan fish. Very windy and several pleasure boaters kept the lake rolling.
Enjoying life in Southern Illinois
Fished Forbes last Sunday for a Club Tourney. Water was muddy to stained. Water temps were in the low to mid 70's. The fish weren't relating to anything specific. Most were scattered and were caught deep and shallow on jigs and plastics. 10+ lbs won and 5+ lbs took 2nd place.
