I just bought a used Z19 and the tag on the back of the boat lists:

Z19 Sc18 A ST IW BM ... THY CH

does anyone know how to interpet this product ID information?

A google search shows multiple links and video that explains a HIN number. People sometimes call the number a VIN but the V is for vehicle. The correct terminology for a boat is HIN with the H being hull identification number...

Agree. The HIN number is on the starboard side of the transom

Not the hull number, that is from the factory build decal, very similar to the build sheet on a vehicle. Now, what it all means /shrug. I doubt even the average dealer can tell you.

thanks for all the feedback. I am aware of the hull ID number. I was just looking for clarification on the codes related to the "model number". I'm assuming it may contain some paint color information.
